Operations Manager.
Arts Organisation, London, Part-Time
Our client, an Arts Organisation is looking for a creative and driven Operations Manager to start ASAP.
The main duties of the Operations Manager are:
• Assisting the Director with administration
• Meeting coordination including minuting/distribution of meetings notes
• Leading on office systems management
• Manage the team’s IT requirements and support
• Supporting Director with HR administration and management of staff appraisals
• Maintaining office supplies
• Manage updates of Privacy and Data policies
• Check and maintain general email inboxes as required
• Log invoices for relevant subscriptions
• Hosting partners and sponsors at events, including managing partnership guest list
• Working with Bookkeeper on financial administration
• Some L&D tasks including development of a professional working and learning environment
• Maintaining and managing database of contacts including CRM details
• Generating guest lists from the database for specific events or activities
Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role with relevant transferrable skills
• Extremely organised, efficient, and self-motivated
• An interest in arts fundraising, membership and events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise competing tasks
• Presentable and confident interacting with all types of stakeholders face-to-face, on the phone and in event environments
• Experience of using database management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have experience dealing with a wide range of people
• Organised and have strong attention to detail
• Dependable with a ‘can do’ attitude
• You must also demonstrate professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times
