Our client, a heritage organisation based in London is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to start ASAP. The role provides expert, customer focused and timely HR service to all departments.

The main duties of the HR Advisor role are: ▪ Provide professional HR advice and support to managers on employment law & general HR issues ensuring all staff related decisions are compliant▪ Providing advice and guidance to managers on HR strategy, ensuring compliance in interpretation▪ Updating HR system and stewardship of changes and development of the system▪ Ensure all data is accurate, up to date and kept in accordance with data protection▪ End to end management of the recruitment process, from initial job ad to onboarding▪ Comprehensive administrative HR support : appraisal process, annual pay review, probation etc ▪ Assist with strategic HR projects, policy development, internal staff/volunteer comms▪ Coordinate induction of new staff and volunteers, internal staff changes and staff leavers ▪ Developing and implementing the museum wide training and development plan ▪ Devise and implement strategies to improve the employee and volunteer experience 

Skills and Experience▪ Experience in a Generalist HR role providing a full range of range of HR tasks▪ Experience managing and maintenance of HR Information Systems ▪ Strong administration skills including appraisals, annual pay review, probation, renewal of contracts ▪ Experience of undertaking HR projects both in a leading and supporting capacity ▪ Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills▪ Aptitude for managing, maintaining and developing online databases & systems & processes▪ Experience of managing a varied workload with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines▪ Excellent written communications skills; the ability to draft staff communications, correspondence, policy documents etc., to a high level of written English both grammatically and content▪ Excellent verbal communication skills; the ability to deal with all levels of colleagues and stakeholders professionally, confidently and politely▪ Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment▪ Good literacy and numeracy skills, including computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)▪ Associate member (or studying to become) of the CIPD ▪ Experience of using Cascade HR software
