Our client, a leading London University, is recruiting for an experienced and committed External Examiner Coordinator to join their London based team. This is a temporary role and is to start ASAP.

The main responsibilities of the External Examiners Coordinator role are:

• Leading on and managing the University’s relationship with, and use of, external examiners

• Work effectively with Schools and HR to ensure that all contractual issues in relation to external examiners are dealt with efficiently

• Dealing with day-to-day queries to the generic External Examiners email inbox

• Helping to conduct Right to Work checks for new External Examiners

• Processing of External Examiner fees and dealing with queries relating to Payroll

• Helping to create and maintain accurate records of EE contracts

• Provide institutional level reporting on all EE as and when required

• Managing and updating the lists of External Examiners

• Efficient committee administration and the preparation of agendas, papers, and reports

• Helping to support arrangements for the Academic Portfolio Committee, including the checking and compiling of the committee papers

• Ensure communications are sent out clearly and promptly post-APC

• Be responsible for the updating and oversight of the department web-presence
